License Activation
How to activate your Cucolori license.
Activating Your License
- Open Cucolori in your host application (apply it to any clip)
- Scroll down to the License section in the effect controls
- Enter your email and license key (from your purchase confirmation email)
- Click Activate
- The status will update to show your license is active
Activation requires an internet connection. Your license also checks in periodically, so you will need to be online at least once every 10 days or so. If you have an extended offline need (e.g. a remote shoot), contact support in advance.
License Details
- Each license covers one host application (DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro)
- Bundle licenses cover all three host applications
- Up to 2 machines per license
- Each license is bound to your machine. Choose wisely.
Rent-to-Own
If you chose a monthly subscription, your payments accumulate toward owning the plugin outright. Once your cumulative payments reach the full one-time price, your license converts to a perpetual license automatically. You can check your progress on your account page.
Troubleshooting Activation
"Activation failed"
- Double-check your email and license key (copy-paste to avoid typos)
- Ensure you have an active internet connection
- Check that your key matches the host application (DVR key for Resolve, AE key for After Effects, FCP key for Final Cut Pro)
Watermark still showing after activation
- Click Refresh Status in the License section
- Close and reopen the host application
- If the issue persists, close the host app and reinstall
Refunds
Self-service refunds are available within 7 days of purchase through your account page. Abuse of the refund system will result in a permanent ban and may be reported to your payment provider as fraud.
