Activation
Apply Ditheron to a clip, then open the License section in the effect controls. Enter the email used for purchase and the license key from the purchase email or account page. Select Activate License and wait for the status message.
FxFactory-managed installs use FxFactory for activation and updates. The direct License section is not shown in that distribution. FxFactory users do not get access to Windows builds, buy direct if that's important to you.
Rent-to-Own
If you're on the monthly plan, you pay 4 payments of $20 and own it at $80. Once you reach that ownership threshold, your license converts to a perpetual license automatically. You can check your progress on your account page.
Internet Requirement
Your license checks in periodically, so you will need to be online at least once every 10 days or so. If you have an extended offline need (e.g. a remote shoot), contact support in advance.
Find a license key

Check the purchase confirmation email, including junk mail.

Visit ezscape.space/account and request an account link with the purchase email.

Copy the key exactly as shown.
If activation fails

| Invalid key | Copy the key again from the email or account page. |
| Network error | Check the connection, then try activation again. |
| License already active | Use the account page to review the purchase, then contact support if the state is unexpected. |
| Account email has no purchase | Check for a second purchase email address. |
