Ditheron

Installation

How to install Ditheron on Windows and macOS for DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.

Ditheron ships as a standard installer for each platform. The whole process takes about a minute.

Windows

  1. Download the installer from your account page or the link in your confirmation email
  2. Close your host application (DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro) completely
  3. Run the installer — it will place the plugin in the correct system folder automatically
  4. Open your host application. Ditheron will appear in the effects panel.

DaVinci Resolve location: Effects Library > OpenFX > EZSCAPE > Ditheron

After Effects location: Effect > EZSCAPE > Ditheron

Final Cut Pro location: Effects browser (Command-5) > Video > EZSCAPE > Ditheron. Drag it onto a clip, then open the Video Inspector to access controls and enter your license key.

The installer clears the plugin cache automatically so your host app picks up Ditheron on the next launch.

macOS

  1. Download the .pkg installer from your account page
  2. Close your host application completely
  3. Double-click the .pkg file and follow the prompts
  4. If macOS asks about permissions, click "Open Anyway" in System Settings > Privacy & Security
  5. Open your host application. Ditheron will appear in the effects panel.
