Getting started with Ditheron
Ditheron 3 is the most powerful image modulation engine for professional video. Turn a shot into a field of letters, a print-like pattern, or an organic mosaic of modulation. Start with a built-in look or choose a Dither Mode, then shape color, light, and balance for the perfect effect.

Install the build for your host. See Installation.

Apply Ditheron to a clip.

Choose a look in Preset, hir **Randomize **or choose a Dither Mode first.

Set Wet and Dry balance in Output before fine adjustment.

Save the setting as a user preset when you're struck by an image but it belongs elsewhere.
Choose a Dither Mode

| Signal | Directional image displacement and layered signal behavior. |

| Traceweaver | Woven traces that draw from source detail. |
| Loscillator | Rretro oscillator image treatment with time-based movement. |
The mode names describe different controls and different results. Start with one mode, set its broad controls, then open the sections that support it. Dither explains the controls for each mode.

The workflows page gives starting settings for print portraits, edge traces, neon titles, scan fields, and graphic layers. The values are starting points. Footage, grade, and compositing order change the result.
